Where are you located?
I am located in Dittmer but will travel to just about any part of Jefferson County and surrounding areas. My studio is located in my home in Dittmer, Missouri.
What happens if it rains or is too cold?
I will always contact you a few days before your session to confirm and talk about the possibility of bad weather. If we need to change the date of the session, I will work with you to get a reschedule date.
Are digital files included in my package?
All of my sessions include full-resolution digital files with a print release, which allows you to reproduce images for personal use as many times as needed. We can provide different versions of each photo, including color and
black & white versions. You will be emailed a digital download link, your images will be available for download for 30 days.
What is your turn around time?
All sessions have a 2-3 week wait. I will message you when I start editing your session.
What days and times is your sessions held on?
All session are held weekdays only by appointment. Monday- Thursdays, some Fridays.
I do not offer weekend dates.
What should I wear to the Session?
Try to wear something simple and avoid busy patterns, wording or logos. If you are with Family or a couple, try to have coordinating colors since this is always pleasing in pictures. If you will have a
wardrobe change please come in the more formal outfit and then change into anything that may be more comfortable.
When is the best time to do a newborn session?
The best time to do a newborn session is between 5-10 days of age. Once a baby passes the 2 week mark, it is difficult to get them into the traditional newborn poses as they are much more alert. We want a nice sleepy baby. If the baby is past the 2 week mark the session can still be done but will not be as "posed".
What do I need to bring to my newborn session?
Just your usual diaper bag items, wipes, formula (if bottle fed) ect. It's a good idea to bring yourself lunch/snack and a drink as sessions can take a while. Also, a pacifier does come in handy to settle the baby on the posing bed and in the baskets without picking them up. Bring any blankets, wraps, hats, headbands or personalized baby items that you will want in your photos. I have everything you need if you prefer to not bring any items.
How long will my newborn session take?
I allow up to 3 hours for my newborn sessions but every baby is different. Some babies are in and out in under two hours, some go to 3 hours. It really depends on how the baby is on the day and how long it takes me to get them to settle.
